Beginnings
Montgomery was founded in 1987 by Henry C. Montgomery under the name of Montgomery Financial Services Corporation (Montgomery). Mr. Montgomery is a seasoned Fortune 500 senior executive who created a vision for outsourcing the finance and accounting portions of small to medium sized businesses.

The 1990's
The Company flourished in the mid-1990's as outsourcing became an accepted business practice. Montgomery developed a reputation for high quality service and a reliable work product in the accounting and finance services and developed many long term partner and client relationships that exist to this day.

A New Vision
Looking to provide the catalyst to grow Montgomery to the next level and beyond, Mr. Montgomery tapped into the expertise of an executive highly experienced in the professional services world to lead the charge. Rick Giorgetti joined as president and CEO in April of 2002 to guide the efforts of the Company moving forward. Mr. Giorgetti has developed the new expanded vision for the Company to include the addition of human resources and outsourcing services, as well as professional level search and interim placement practice.

Recent Past
In March 2003, Montgomery Professional Services Corporation was born. After acquiring $1.3 Million in financing to fuel growth, Montgomery began to leverage client and partner relationships while taking advantage of the skill base of its executive team in addition to its talented employee consultants and contractors.

Montgomery continues to grow; adding clients and employees in multiple disciplines. The company provides reach in The Greater Bay Area and Sacramento regions delivering services to companies, tech and non-tech, large and small, public and private.

In the past two years, Silicon Valley Business Journal has recognized the company as the 38th and 15th fastest growing privately held business in Silicon Valley.
